Tween Heartthrobs May Move to Westlake Soon

Special from the Fort Worth Star-Telegram

Some have already spotted the famous teen singers in town.

Now young fans are figuring out how to rub elbows with the famous heartthrobs.

And wouldn’t it be cool if the Jonas Brothers played at Westlake Academy?

The pop group appears to be buying a house in Westlake’s Vaquero development, an exclusive community with a golf course.

The three brothers — commonly known to tweens as Joe, Nick and Kevin — granted power of attorney to their mother, Denise Jonas, to buy a Westlake home, according to documents filed at the Tarrant County Clerk’s office.

The 7,360-square-foot house on Wisteria Way had been listed for $2.89 million. It boasts six bedrooms and abuts the sixth and seventh fairways of the Vaquero Golf Course. The home also has a pool, spa and outdoor seating area with a fireplace, according to the listing.

The band’s publicist in Burbank, Calif., had no comment on the matter. Neither did the Coldwell Banker representative for the listing or the attorney who prepared the documents for the title company.

Vaquero officials also declined to comment about sales at the development, where the entrance gate is manned 24 hours a day.

"I am not at liberty to comment on who’s in and who’s out at Vaquero," sales director John Buttemiller said. "I would not comment on anybody that lives here. We keep it extremely private. That’s why people are coming to live here."
